Operations Associate

Overall Function

A team in our Raleigh-Durham offices are seeking a full-time Operations Associate. This individual will work with our robust integrated operations team to implement agreed upon strategies in line with a client’s overall financial plan (including risk and investment products) and be responsible for several aspects of the operations process.
Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

• Communicate (verbal and written) with clients to facilitate account opening, insurance applications, onboarding, and account maintenance


• Handle incoming calls to answer client requests for current account information or direct calls to appropriate personnel


• Process service requests including funds disbursements and account transfers for new and existing clients


• Participate and contribute to team meeting discussions. (i.e. process improvement and current caseload)


• Correspond with Northwestern Mutual Home Office or other Third Parties as needed to supply or obtain information


• Manage workday efficiency in an autonomous environment


• 
  File and log appropriate correspondence and forms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
  


• 5+ years of financial services or securities industry experience required


• Life & Health Insurance Licenses; SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 required – or willingness to obtain
