Daisy is a tech-driven residential property management company on a mission to improve the way people live by transforming the way buildings run. In just three years, we’ve grown to manage over 250 buildings. Our team is collaborative, moves quickly, and is passionate about disrupting an outdated industry and making a real difference in people’s lives.
Overview
We’re hiring an entry-level Operations Associate to support our facilities operations team and help keep buildings running smoothly day to day.
This role is ideal for someone who is naturally curious, learns fast, and enjoys solving real-world problems. You don’t need years of experience — but you do need strong judgment, follow-through, and the ability to spot patterns in small issues before they become bigger ones.
Facilities work is hands-on, fast-moving, and unpredictable. The best people in this role are calm under pressure, eager to learn, and always looking for ways to make systems better.
What You’ll Do
Support daily facilities operations across repairs, maintenance, vendor coordination, and urgent building issues
Track open tasks, follow-ups, and next steps to ensure nothing gets missed
Communicate clearly with internal teams, vendors, and building stakeholders
Help document workflows and build repeatable processes as the team scales
Identify recurring problems (ex: repeated leaks, access issues, vendor delays) and flag trends early
Assist with operational reporting, photos, documentation, and issue tracking
Learn and adopt new tools, systems, and AI-driven workflows to reduce manual work
Step into messy situations with a mindset of: “What’s the real problem here, and what’s the next best action?”
What You Bring
Strong willingness to learn — you pick up new systems, concepts, and processes quickly
Critical thinking skills — you don’t just complete tasks, you understand what’s behind them
High ownership — you close loops and follow through without being chased
Ability to notice patterns: small problems don’t stay small, and you think ahead
Clear communication and comfort working with many stakeholders
Interest in facilities, operations, real estate, or how physical systems run
Calm, practical, and dependable in fast-moving environments
Nice to Have
Any experience in property management, facilities, construction, service operations, or customer support
Familiarity with tools like Airtable, Zendesk, Google Workspace, or maintenance ticketing systems
Interest in automation, AI tools, or operational improvement
What Success Looks Like
Maintenance issues are tracked clearly and resolved faster
The team feels more organized because follow-ups and execution are tight
Recurring building problems are identified early, not after the third escalation
Processes become easier to follow and better documented over time
You grow quickly into a trusted operator who can take on more ownership
