Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $12–$13 per hour

Overview

Join a team that has been delivering quality food service since 1942. As an Operations Clerk, you’ll play a key role in supporting transportation and warehouse operations through reporting, coordination, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily reports and filing, including:
  • Morning Trans Report
  • DVIR Report
  • Backhaul Report
  • POD Usage Report
• Track and post warehouse and transportation KPIs on communication boards
• Provide daily Hours of Service (HOS) snapshots to Transportation Management
• Audit Cintas billing and review findings with management
• Verify time and attendance records (punch validation only)
• Submit payroll exception emails
• Prepare weekly driver incentive reports
• Verify credited items scanned via Target and communicate updates
• Maintain and update driver and warehouse communication boards, including safety scoreboards
• Organize Ryder bills for weekly management approval
• Order diesel, DEF, and supplies (Uline & Grainger) as needed
• Assist with Dispatch Track pre-work
• Answer incoming calls in the transportation office
• Perform general Samsara system maintenance
• Monitor fleet vehicles and coordinate maintenance scheduling
• Support inbound scheduling (future responsibility)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse, tablet, scanner)
• Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and calmly in a fast-paced environment
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Training & Knowledge

• GDP training, including:
  • Personnel practices
  • Storage and sanitation
  • Receiving and distribution
  • HACCP standards
