Operations Coordinator, Equipment Lock

Who We Are:
The Equipment Lock Company is a family-owned business in Claysburg, PA that has been in operation for over 20 years. We make anti-theft and safety devices for heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, sea containers and more. We’re growing fast and are looking for an Administrative Support Specialist to help us continue to expand!

What Will You Be Doing?
This role will be responsible for providing clerical, data entry, and customer service support across multiple departments, including customer service backfill and daily labor scheduling. You’ll do this by:

• Organizing and prioritizing large volumes of information, calls, and email communications
• Opening and routing mail for supervisors and drafting responses by phone or email when appropriate
• Responding to regular requests for information and answering routine questions
• Scheduling and organizing activities such as meetings and calls
• Acting as a liaison with other departments and external customers
• Handling confidential information in accordance with company policies
• Typing and designing general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, and other documents, and proofreading for accuracy and clarity
• Establishing,  maintaining, and updating recordkeeping and filing systems (electronic and paper)
• Retrieving information from files and systems when needed
• Assisting with quality improvement processes and analyzing operating practices for efficiency
• Performing accurate data entry in multiple programs and systems
• Supporting daily labor scheduling and communicating updates to supervisors and teams
• Providing customer service backfill by answering calls, emails, and routine inquiries when primary staff are unavailable

What will you need?

• Attention to detail and strong accuracy in data entry and document preparation
• Familiarity with QuickBooks 
• Reliable transportation
• Problem-solving  skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Basic mechanical aptitude or familiarity with a manufacturing/ warehouse environment is helpful
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to learn new systems
