Operations Crewmember Lead (OCL) / Crew Leader Bridge Tunnel (CLBT)

GovFirst is seeking to hire multiple Operations Crewmember Leads (OCL) / Crew Leaders Bridge Tunnel (CLBT) to oversee shift operations within the Transportation Operations Division in Virginia locations including Bristol, Culpeper, Fredericksburg, Hampton Roads, Lynchburg, Northern Virginia, Richmond, Salem, and Staunton. These leads will supervise personnel during operations, coordinate incident responses, and ensure roadway safety.

• Supervise and provide oversight of assigned shift personnel in coordination with the Operations Manager.
  

• Conduct continuous and phased patrols when not actively responding to incidents.
  

• Respond to disabled vehicles, stranded motorists, roadway debris, spilled loads, vehicle crashes, and other traffic obstructions.
  

• Provide the Operations Manager and control room with real-time updates regarding incident status, equipment, and personnel needs.
  

• Support and direct incident and accident responses to ensure timely clearance of roadways and removal of hazards to motorists.
  

• Coordinate the deployment of personnel and equipment as needed during incidents.
  

• Ensure all activities comply with safety standards, operational procedures, and contract requirements.
  

Requirements

• Experience in operations, traffic management, or roadway safety roles.
  

• Ability to supervise personnel and coordinate team activities effectively.
  

• Strong knowledge of roadway incident response procedures and safety regulations.
  

• Excellent communication skills for providing updates to managers and control centers.
  

• Ability to respond quickly and efficiently to emergencies or operational issues.
