Job Description - Operations Director

Position Overview:

The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in supporting and assisting all distribution, production operations, project management, and corporate initiatives. This position requires a strategic thinker with valuable financial information and industry-specific knowledge who can add value to our team.

Responsibilities:
Promote an attitude of pride, cooperation, and success in the unit.
Directly manage the ordering process in the unit.
Coordinate internal resources for the flawless execution of projects.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Directly manage unit scheduling, managers, and crew members.
Provide leadership to managers and crew members to achieve company standards.
Assist with assigning and defining areas of responsibility for leadership.
Direct the team toward achieving goals.
Maintain a positive work environment for both the management team and staff.
Ensure workplace safety, following all safety policies and regulations.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
Master's Degree in Engineering or MBA preferred.
10+ years of progressive management experience in a Supply Chain Operation.
Previous experience managing day-to-day warehouse operations with multiple direct reports.
Proven track record of success in inventory control management.
Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of LEAN principles, OSHA regulations, Safety Practices, GMPs, and HACCP.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Software.
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
