Job Description - Operations Engineering Lead

You are:

The Operations Engineering & Architecture Lead will manage and guide technical projects that are both complex and expansive in scope. Your role will require you to oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring that each aligns with the strategic objectives of the organization. You will navigate the intricacies of technical program management, drawing upon your extensive background in coordinating teams and resources effectively in an Agile environment. Your leadership will not only be pivotal in driving project success but also in fostering a collaborative environment where your team of four or more technical professionals can thrive and excel. Your technical acumen will be put to the test as you engage with a variety of technologies and platforms.

The work:

Leverage automated testing and deployment strategies to streamline processes

Lead and manage programs with multiple simultaneous technical projects

Supervise technical teams and manage many parallel software development

Handle communications with parties internal and external to the program

Here’s what you need:

4+ years of experience in DevSecOps throughout the software development lifecycle

Knowledge in risk management, scheduling, Agile management, ITIL, and/or EVM

Hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL server, .NET, JAVA, engineered systems and cloud technologies

Experience implementing data integration, automated testing, and/or deployment

Nice to have:

Experience with AWS cloud technology

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Eligibility Requirements:

US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)

Interim Secret Clearance required

Must be local to Arlington, VA and willing to work onsite one day per week

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
