Operations Manager (Salem – Adolescent/Adult)

At Work Unlimited, we are dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in achieving independence, dignity, and fulfilling lives. We are seeking a strong, mission-driven leader to step into the role of Operations Manager and oversee residential programs that serve both adolescents and adults.

What You’ll Do

As an Operations Manager, you’ll ensure quality care, regulatory compliance, and a supportive environment across a pod of 24-hour residential homes. You’ll provide direct leadership to employees while also stepping in when higher-level coverage is needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, coach, and support management employees (RPS II & III)


• Oversee scheduling, quality assurance, and accurate documentation


• Lead licensing preparation, onsite reviews, and improvement plans


• Maintain health and safety compliance across assigned homes


• Support hiring and recruitment efforts


• Participate in administrative on-call rotation


• Step into open management roles when needed, providing direct support in:

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or GED with 3+ years of experience managing a 24-hour I/DD home


• Bachelor’s in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Human Services, Education, or related field. Experience may substituted in lieu of education.


• ODDS Behavior Professional status preferred (or ability to qualify)

Required Certifications:

• OIS Level IF


• First Aid/CPR


• Must pass a DHS background check
