THE JOB

This is a

Operations Manager

position and requires someone who has

minimum of five (5) years of operations experience in a fabrication and/or industrial manufacturing environment.

As a Operations Manager your roles and responsibilities will include:

You will manage multi-product line manufacturing operations in order to meet or exceed safety, quality, delivery, cost and efficiency goals for the shift. You will develop shift supervisors and hourly employees through teaching, coaching, mentoring and leadership.

You will be responsible for developing and leading a high performing work team that aligns with client s vision and values, while delivering quality products to customers at the lowest possible cost.

The role also involves partnering with commercial and customer service teams, providing leadership and guidance to production employees, and coordinating and supporting key value stream activities.

Additionally, the role supports the use of operational excellence tools and processes, such as MESH, EQMS, ELSS, and OCM, to drive performance excellence and ensure a safe work environment. Furthermore, the role is responsible for managing talent and performance, ensuring records and reports are maintained, managing schedules and manpower, monitoring productivity and quality, overseeing shipping, and championing client systems and tools.

You will also engage leaders in LEAN initiatives, foster an environment of continuous improvement, communicate policies and procedures, utilize key operating indicators, prepare reports, facilitate communication meetings, lead the culture change, and emphasize the creation of continuous product flow.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Operations Manager who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Operations Manager would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:

Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution

Minimum of five (5) years of operations experience in a fabrication and/or industrial manufacturing environment

Minimum of one (1) year people management and/or supervision experience
