Located in beautiful Grand Rapids, MI, our organization is known for its top-notch service and commitment to excellence. We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our new restaurant opening who shares our passion for creating memorable experiences and leading by example.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead a team of 30-40 hourly team members to exceed guest expectations.
• Display financial understanding by managing budgeting, labor costs, and overall financial management.
• Demonstrate proactive leadership by ensuring positive staff and guest experiences through personal interactions.
• Interact with guest service-focused team members in areas of recruiting, hiring, coaching, training, and professional development.
• Embrace teamwork while leading others to do the same.
• Live our core values and collaborate with the management team to achieve high-quality and timely results.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
• Experience managing cost of goods sold and labor management.
• Ability to oversee all aspects of the business - from the smallest details to the big picture.
• Experience maintaining an exceptional guest-focused environment.
• High volume experience ($2-5M+) in full-service/casual dining concept.
