Operations Manager - Room for Advancement

Role Overview:

To remain a recognized leader, we are seeking an Operations Manager that is an excellent communicator, has strong interpersonal skills and can work in a fast-paced environment providing the best customer experience. We are looking for someone who can multi-task, prioritize, organize efficiently and be detail oriented. This position is responsible for overseeing the facility and production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction, and safety standards are met. This position is highly skilled and has solid experience in warehousing manufacturing, leadership, and optimizing production workflow. Duties may vary to include some or all of the following job responsibilities.

Role Responsibilities:

• Oversees daily activities of the facility.
• Maintain a positive atmosphere within the facility and actively promote unity between all departments.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining high quality standards.
• Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
• Supervise and lead a team of production supervisors and operators, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and analyze performance indicators to identify areas of improvement.
• Oversee inventory management to maintain accurate inventory.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the facility.
• Develop SOP’s and implement best practices to optimize workflow, decrease costs, and increase productivity.
• Resolve any production related issues or conflicts in a timely and efficient manner.
• Direct responsibility for outbound and inbound trucking, intra-company freight, labor utilization, maintenance supplies, and facility related expenses.
• Develop and execute facility specific tactical and strategic goals to align with overall company strategic and tactical goals.
• Works with leadership and key personnel at other company locations.
• Performs other related duties as needed.

What Tredit Tire is looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business administration or related field strongly preferred. Equivalent years of experience taken into consideration.
• Proven experience in manufacturing operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data driven decisions.
• Proficiency in using ERP applications, Warehouse Management Systems, and Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills.
• Strong commitment to safety.
