Operations, Press Assistant

To strengthen our motivated Offset Printing Team at our plant in Indianapolis, IN we are looking for a highly competent Press Assistant.

Your Role

• Performs area clearance to ensure product mix does not occur. 
• You will read and understand the job ticket to determine job set-up. 
• You will acquire and load materials according to schedule returning unused stock in a timely manner. 
• Inspects, mounts, removes, defaces, and properly disposes plates. 
• Sets up and adjusts guides to ensure quality work. 
• Monitors and keeps press running during Operator breaks and lunch. 
• Performs wash up duties on press for completed orders. 
• Operates fork truck and roll truck. 
• Maintains accurate records using good documentation practices. 
• Contributes to safety goals by maintaining a clean, clutter-free work area and promptly reports potentially unsafe conditions. 
• Complies with environmental and OSHA requirements to include wearing required personal protective equipment. 
• Other duties as reasonably requested.

Your Profile

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 6 months general work experience
• Basic math and computer skills
• Detail-oriented, quality and safety focused
• Ability to communicate in written and spoken English
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs

Desired:

• Experience working in a detailed, fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with cGMP pharmaceutical printing or packaging industry
