Purpose Statement:
Northstar Behavioral Health Network is a team of professionals that specialize in serving those
battling substance use disorders, specifically Opioid Use Disorder and Stimulant Use Disorder.
Also specializing in those needing Intensive Residential Treatment Services.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential Functions)
? In-directly supervises employees in the Transportation and technician departments.
? Comprehensive understanding of all MN Statutes related to providing services for the
population NBHN serves
? Carries out the responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures
and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
? Manages and provides quality assurance/control over organizational operations and cost
of care initiatives.
? Comprehensive understanding of all MN Statutes related to providing services for the
population NBHN serves
? Manages Fleet, including maintenance,insurance, and new purchases
? Reviews Financial, operational, and activity analyses and forecasts data to determine
department or division progress toward states goals and objectives.
? Serves as a member of management committees on special studies/duties/ projects,
supports quality improvement initiatives and assists in the management of PULSE/ QI
data and other supporting data
? Collaborates with and follows directives given by the Vice President of Operations to:
? All other duties assigned
Miscellaneous Responsibilities and Duties
? Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and
development skills.
? Ongoing demonstrated ability to lead team members
? Maintains up to date knowledge of laws and statues required by:
? Maintains appropriate communications within the area of responsibility.
? Practices a high level of confidentiality.
Required Skills and Experience (Minimum requirements in terms of educational background,
work experience, licenses/certifications or other knowledge skills and abilities).
? Excellent organizational management skills.
? Proficient working knowledge of Procentive, Google Drive, Microsoft Office, general
computer use pr ability to catch on with ease.
? Valid MN driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
? Successful completion of a background study in DHS.
? Free of chemical use problems for at least one year immediately preceding hire date and
sign a statement attesting to that fact.
? High school diploma or GED.
? Might be eighteen years old.
? CPR and 1st Aid certified or willing to participate in courses provided by NBH.
