Description

Central State Bank has an immediate opening for an Operations Specialist at our Cedar Rapids location.

Our Operations team is responsible for Bank-wide operational support of our front-line customer service staff, finance, and sales support staff. Operations processes transactions and maintains the integrity and efficiency of core processing and ancillary systems. Additionally, Operations oversees the production of deposit account documentation and provides staff support by understanding deposit account servicing requirements and digital banking systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

· Works with core operating computer systems to process transactions and maintain records.

· Processes wire transfers, automated clearing house entries, and check clearing, debit card, ATM, and mobile banking transactions.

· Performs core system report review and reconciliation of transactions.

· Processes account maintenance and setup requests.

· Works with Bank Secrecy Act compliance and large cash transactions.

· Performs various operational duties related to regulatory compliance and documentation.

· Provides support to internal teammates and tellers on operating systems.

Requirements

· Experience in banking, accounting, or bank operations is beneficial.

· Accuracy and attention to detail required.

· Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

· Ability to take direction and instruction and follow through independently.
