Operations Supervisor

Lead Our Independent Contractor Network Behind the Scenes of Healthcare

At Accurate Courier Services, we don’t just move packages—we deliver time-critical medical materials that directly impact patient care. As an Operations Supervisor in Fort Wayne, you’ll be responsible for guiding a team of independent-contractor drivers, ensuring labs, hospitals and pharmacies get what they need, when they need it most.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise and support a local roster of medical couriers on scheduled routes and urgent pickups


• Help recruit, screen, and onboard new contractors


• Act as the field liaison: answer driver questions, resolve service issues and escalate to Dispatch or leadership


• Audit routes, schedules and compliance; recommend adjustments to optimize efficiency


• Manage inventory of equipment and branded swag (coolers, containers, ID badges, etc.)


• Track and report on-time delivery rates and customer feedback; partner with Dispatch and Operations to refine processes

What You Bring

• 3+ years managing teams in logistics, transportation or healthcare operations, preferred but not required


• Deep knowledge of Fort Wayne and surrounding traffic patterns, shortcuts and neighborhoods


• Flexibility for early mornings, evenings or weekend support as needed


• Strong communication and coaching skills—able to provide constructive feedback and clear direction


• Comfort with smartphones, GPS tools and digital reporting systems


• Familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA or HAZMAT guidelines is a plus; we’ll provide any necessary training
  

Physical Requirements

• Walk and stand for extended periods


• Bend, squat and reach to load/unload materials


• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely


• Navigate stairs, loading docks and tight spaces


• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
