Job Description - Operations Supervisor

What you’ll be doing:

  • Creating an environment grounded in caring, learning, and results
  • Incorporating methods to meet and exceed customer production requirements
  • Leading and supporting the assembly and shipping/receiving of products
  • Applying and improving quality processes into daily work to ensure product compliance
  • Soliciting in problem resolution to difficult operational challenges
  • Actively communicating and interacting with members of the Quality and Customer Service departments
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Providing value add services to our internal and external customers
  • Performing other duties as assigned 

WCI has grown from $50M in annual sales to more than $375M in the last 10 years. During the same period, we have added 5 new locations bringing the total up to 9, including 1 located internationally. That growth has provided an opportunity to further expand our vision with our customers and increase our capacities.


Requirements

 What we are looking for:

  • Experience in leading and coaching multi-layered and cross-functional teams 
  • Experience leading in a manufacturing and assembly production systems – standardizing, measuring, improving 
  • Building and sustaining a healthy team and culture
  • ERP Proficiency (preferred)
  • Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and MRP system (preferred)
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or comparable work experience (preferred)
