Are you a hands-on problem solver with a strong background in lab environments? We're looking for an Operations Support Lead who thrives on keeping things running smoothly and enjoys being the go-to person for lab operations, equipment, and safety.

This is a great opportunity for someone with an Associate’s degree and several years of lab experience to step into a leadership-support role that blends coordination, logistics, and team collaboration.

What You’ll Do

Be the Backbone of Lab Operations

• Own the onboarding experience for new lab staff—train, assign duties, and help them hit the ground running
• Manage workspace transitions and ensure everyone has what they need to succeed

Keep Equipment & Facilities Running

• Coordinate repairs, technician visits, and preventative maintenance
• Submit work orders and follow up to ensure timely resolution

Stay Ahead of Inventory Needs

• Order and organize shared lab supplies
• Monitor stock levels and backorders to avoid disruptions

Lead Key Lab Activities

• Organize annual pipette calibration, lab clean-ups, and inventory audits
• Partner with scientists and capital planning teams to support equipment upgrades

Oversee Cold Storage

• Manage clean-outs and emergency repairs
• Conduct regular reviews to optimize space and safety

Champion Safety & Compliance

• Attend EH&S meetings and lead monthly safety inspections
• Keep signage and safety protocols up to date

What You Bring: 

• Associate’s Degree and 6+ years of hands-on lab experience 
• Proven ability to manage lab operations or facilities
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working across teams and departments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship

Position is Full Time, First Shift, Monday through Friday from 8 am-5pm pm, onsite. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Boston, MA, are encouraged to apply
