Job Description - Operations Support Specialist

About Us:


Carolina Cabin Rentals seeks an interested and capable person to join our team!  We are a locally owned and operated full-service luxury vacation rental company with over 400 properties located across the High Country of Western NC. We are passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences and maintaining strong relationships with homeowners. 



Position Summary:


The Operations Support Specialist plays a key role in the day-to-day coordination of operations, supporting our internal team as well as property managers and guests. This is an excellent opportunity to learn all aspects of the luxury vacation rental business. We provide opportunities for growth within a supportive and professional team environment, while working in a beautiful mountain setting with a company that values work-life balance.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide administrative support to the operations team, assist walk-in visitors, answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.

  • Manage ordering accounts, data, and reports.

  • Oversee the lost and found process.

  • Support quality control processes, including resolving property and guest issues.

  • Coordinate with properties leaving the rental program, ensuring a smooth transition with new property managers.


Qualifications:



  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, technology in general.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills.

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances and urgent needs in a fast-paced environment.

  • Tact when dealing with sensitive and confidential matters.

  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work on-site at our Boone office.
