Job Description - Operations Support Staff

Description

Laundry-4U is looking for the next Operations Support Staff available to work the 1st and 2nd shift. The Operations Support Staff role enjoys supporting a dynamic and high energy environment. They will be responsible for supporting all our company-owned retail stores in compliance with our Brand Operating Standards and playing a key role in bringing our Laundry-4U Experience alive for our customers. You’ll take pride in your work and work closely with our Corporate HR, Talent, and Sales Leadership Team to plan and execute Brand Operating Standards with Excellence. The Operations Support Staff exemplifies the Laundry-4U values of our three Cs, excellence in Customer Service, Clean and Safe Facilities, and Community!

Responsibilities

  • Report daily to the Ops Support Team Lead
  • Monitor store operations and security through CCTV to ensure day-to-day efficiency and loss prevention.
  • Monitor store alarm systems.
  • Assist store-level employees by answering questions regarding day-to-day responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email as they come in.
  • Report employee conduct infractions as they occur.
  • Remotely fill all open shifts at the store-level, if necessary, by contacting employees
  • Report/communicate company operations issues as they arise to management.
  • Quickly respond to emergency situations as they occur.
  • Ensuring stores are upholding Laundry-4U standards through brand and operations compliance.

Requirements

  • Must have 2 years of customer service experience or a similar role.
  • Proficient computer skills required.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Must be available for two different shift times.
  • Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.
  • Able to work a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be available for weekday training and monthly meetings.
  • Experience in loss prevention is a plus.
  • A general operating knowledge of retail CCTV systems is a plus.
  • 1 -2 year of assets protection/loss prevention experience in a retail environment is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams)
  • Effective communication skills with upper-level management and store level employees.

Shift Times: 

  • 1st shift: Morning shift: 8:30am-4:30pm REQUIRED
  • 2nd shift: Afternoon shift: 4:30pm-12:30am REQUIRED
  • 3rd shift: Overnight shift: 12:30am-8:30am
  • Weekends- REQUIRED
  • Holidays -REQUIRED

Pay

  •  Starting pay is $13/hour, with the opportunity to earn up to $15/hour after 90 days based on performance.
