Job Description - Operations Team Chief

Brings in-depth understanding and expertise to one or more aspects of service or joint missions, processes, and culture. Applies advanced military Special Operations Forces (SOF) skills or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, mentors and manages team members ensuring Army missions are fully supported and executed through the management of employees, performance to Warfighter Exercises (WFX), Risk Reduction Events (RREs), and steady-state activities, and work in conjunction with the client. Manage personnel to ensure Army missions are fully supported to include management of employees, performance, recruiting, or discipline and any financial responsibility.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience as a former Field Grade Officer
Experience in a key developmental position at brigade or battalion level
Knowledge of current Army and Joint doctrine
Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a complex, dynamic environment
Ability to work as a member of a larger team
Graduate of Intermediate Level Education (MEL4)
Additional Qualifications:
Experience as a Colonel O-6 or above
Experience as Graduate of a War College, including MEL1
Experience serving on a Division/Corps level staff position
TS/SCI clearance
PMP Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
