Operations Team Member- 2nd Shift

Entry responsibilities include inspection, weeding, and calendaring.  As core competencies are developed, has the flexibility to work in other areas, on cross-functional activities, or projects as assigned.  We are growing and this team member has a willingness to learn and to train others! This is a 1st shift position from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.

Assignments will vary depending upon business needs  Activities may include, but are not limited to:

• Calendaring/Garment application
• Weeding
• Inspection
• Packaging
• Manual activities such as shipping and receiving, movement and storage of product/materials/pallets, workstation replenishment 
• Inventory management such as counting, quality inspection, and corresponding recordkeeping and reporting.
• Use of  tools including, hand truck, scales, and measuring devices
• Use of various machines and printing equipment, as training allows

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 0-2 year’s previous experience
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a highly participative work team.
• Ability to work independently, under moderate to minimal supervision in a safe and timely manner
• Ability to read, interpret and administer SOPs, manuals, instructions, ISO 9000 procedures, special packaging or quality standards.
• Has mathematical aptitude and logical problem solving skills
• Must possess or acquire certifications within specified timing in order to perform the job.
• Ability to push, pull, twist, bend, stand or sit for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
• Must be motivated towards productivity improvement
