Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Network Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network switching equipment. Duties include monitoring network operations, resolving routine issues, and conducting maintenance activities. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience in network systems installation and maintenance or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure network switching equipment.
• Monitor network performance and resolve routine issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance activities on network equipment.
• Respond to trouble tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth network operations.
• Document network configurations and changes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in network systems installation and maintenance.
• Proficiency in installing and configuring network switching equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving network issues.
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools and techniques.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving network issues across multiple vendor platforms.
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools and techniques applicable to Nokia, Cisco, Juniper, and Cienna devices.
• Familiarity with network protocols and standards commonly used in Nokia, Cisco, Juniper, and Cienna equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in networking (e.g., Cisco CCNA).
• Experience with other networking devices such as routers and firewalls.
• Familiarity with network protocols and standards.
