JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor, test, and document chemical concentrations to ensure the proper cleaning and sanitization of equipment.


• Clean and sanitize silo tanks, vats, processing lines, fillers, and other designated plant equipment and areas.


• Complete all required production, sanitation, and quality documentation accurately and timely.


• Perform preventive maintenance activities as assigned.


• Maintain a clean, sanitary, organized, and safe work environment.


• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies.


• Adhere to all safety, security, and food safety requirements.


• Wear and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.


• Support compliance with all regulatory, customer, and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards and requirements.


• Maintain regular attendance and dependable work habits.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required.


• Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred; high-volume manufacturing experience strongly preferred.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and sanitation standards.


• Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; capable of performing basic mathematical calculations and accurately recording data.


• Bilingual skills are beneficial.


• Ability to read, understand, and apply information from Safety Data Sheets (SDS), equipment manuals, cleaning specifications, and technical documents.


• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Frequently required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, climb, reach, pull, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.


• Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.


• Ability to work in cold, wet, humid, and fast-paced manufacturing environments for extended periods.


• May be required to work at heights and in confined spaces while following all safety procedures.


• Must be able to wear required PPE and work safely around chemicals used in sanitation processes.
