Operator I, Production - J Shift

This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that produces and prepares high-quality products safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures to help our people and the world see brilliantly.

The Operator I, Production (Para-Professional & Support Path) is primarily responsible for setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting manufacturing machinery and equipment to install, assemble, and package in-process product in line with product specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.

Specifics include:
• Set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Install, assemble, and package in-process product according to specifications and production schedules
• Move, package, and sort raw materials or finished goods as required
• Monitor manufacturing equipment, processes, and output quality
• Identify and appropriately discard or re-manufacture product that does not meet requirements
• Maintain accurate daily assembly and production records for manufacturing performance analysis
• Develop foundational manufacturing skills through training and practical experience
• Work independently on routine tasks after completing required training
• Seek guidance and escalate appropriately when handling non-routine issues

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• Work hours: J Shift - 11.5 hrs
