Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment Fabricate parts according to drawings, routings and work instructions using punch presses and turret presses Use manufacturing information to determine necessary parts and fixtures and obtain materials from stock areas Perform quality checks consistent using measuring instruments and/or templates Operate auxiliary equipment (e.g., automatic feeds, scrap cutters, conveyors, limit switches, straightener and safety equipment) set and adjust fabrication materials and equipment (e.g., dies, ram stroke) Cross-train in various areas of the department and train new hire operators on presses Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand throughout working shift and work overtime as needed Must have a high school diploma/GED from an accredited institution Must have six months Fabrication Experience operating presses ex-punch presses, turret presses. Experience with precision-measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, tape measures); and hand tools Ability to interpret drawings/blueprints Ability to troubleshoot operations equipment No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Experience with Mapics and Matrix computer systems and the ability to interpret drawings/blueprints Experience troubleshooting equipment such as automatic feed presses.
