Operator (Tie Layer) 3rd shift

Job Summary

The Tie Layer Operator will perform operations including manufacturing, coating, and processing tubing. 

· Set up and monitor machines & equipment.

· Apply tie layer coating to tubing.

· Place tubing in equipment. 

· Check tubing visually and dimensionally.

· Document process information on prescribed worksheets.

· Must maintain a clean, neat work area and observe all safety rules and regulations.

· Other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· The ability to carry out oral and written instructions along with the ability to adapt to different situations.

· The ability to read job instruction.

· Repetitive overhead lifting of lightweight tubing.

· The ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.

· The employee must have the ability to perform inspection functions such as visual inspection to detect cosmetic defects and color differentiation of products.

· Standing, stooping or sitting for sustained periods of time.
