Eaton\u2019s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a OPEX Manufacturing Engineer. This role is based at our Arden, NC facility. \n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year. \n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:\n\nThe Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for providing a broad range of engineering support to manufacturing operations and plant facility maintenance; provide project responsibility for the execution of complex projects and project assignments within the Operational Excellence department; develop engineering and process control documentation for manufacturing needs; provide coordination and technical guidance to production personnel as appropriate. \n \n\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: \n\n\u2022 You will apply knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication and assembly processes, tooling and fixturing design and applications. \n\u2022 You will develop and implement improvements to manufacturing and its procedures and processes through improved layout and material handling procedures. \n\u2022 You will train factory operators in the use of equipment, tooling and procedures. \n\u2022 You will plan, coordinate, and oversee changes and upgrades to the manufacturing facility. \n\u2022 You will be leading events such as Shop Floor and Rapid Improvement Events to achieve factory cost-out targets in your support area. \n\u2022 You will conduct a line capacity analysis and lead labor productivity improvement initiatives to achieve the business objective. \n\u2022 You will specify, design, quote, install, debug, and maintain equipment for use in manufacturing. \n\u2022 You will support Eaton\u2019s digitization initiatives with the implementation of manufacturing execution systems (MES) in shop floor, electronic data presentation, Industry 4.0, and automation. \n\u2022 You will support other key plant processes and provide cross-functional support as directed. \n\u2022 You will design processes utilizing PFMEA, document controls, method sheets, standard operating procedures, etc. \n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Degree in engineering or a technical field from an accredited institution. \n\u2022 5 years of Manufacturing or Industrial Experience \n\n\u2022 No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Arden, NC to be considered.
