Job Description - Ops Development Director

Responsibilities:

Strategy Development: Lead the development and implementation of digital transformation strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for digital innovation, evaluate emerging technologies, and assess their potential impact on the business. Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the go-to authority on digital transformation, staying up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Provide expert guidance and thought leadership to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Needs Assessment and Gap Analysis: Conduct comprehensive assessments of current business processes, systems, and technologies to identify gaps and areas for improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders to define digital transformation requirements and develop a roadmap for implementation. Change Management: Drive organizational change by promoting digital transformation initiatives, creating awareness, and fostering a culture of innovation. Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on digital tools and processes, ensuring smooth adoption and acceptance. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, operations, and senior leadership, to ensure alignment and collaboration on digital transformation projects. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitate effective communication, and manage expectations throughout the transformation journey. Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of digital transformation projects. Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, and ensure projects are completed within budget and meet quality standards. Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success. Performance Measurement and Optimization: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of digital transformation initiatives. Continuously monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement, optimize processes, and enhance business outcomes. Develop and implement a comprehensive operational data governance framework to ensure the quality, integrity, and security of organizational data assets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify critical data elements, establish data ownership, and define data quality standards and guidelines. Create and maintain documentation for data governance policies, procedures, and best practices to promote consistent data management across the organization.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Proven experience (10-15 years) as a Digital Transformation Subject Matter Expert, Data and Analytics Strategy or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of digital technologies, trends, and best practices, such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data analytics, IoT, and automation.
Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing digital transformation strategies and initiatives.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and translate complex concepts into actionable plans.
Excellent project management abilities, including planning, organizing, and monitoring multiple projects simultaneously.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Change management experience, including leading organizational change and managing resistance.
Strong business acumen and a customer-centric mindset.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Digital Transformation Professional, Certified Digital Business Transformation Expert) are a plus. Responsibilities:
