Position Overview and Responsibilities:
This OPS Policy & Procedure Specialist/Technical Writer position is in the Florida Planning, Accounting, and Ledger Management (PALM) Unit of the Bureau of Finance and Accounting, under the Division of Administrative Services. Primary responsibilities include:
Analyzing, documenting, communicating, and updating DEP’s processes and procedures to align with Florida PALM. PALM is replacing the State of Florida’s current accounting system (FLAIR) with an integrated, enterprise financial management solution that will allow the State to organize, define, and standardize its financial management processes. This position is designated as a Position of Special Trust in accordance with DEP Directive 422, Positions of Special Trust or Responsibility. Successful completion of background screening will be required for this position.
Pay:
This position is hiring at $25.00 per hour.
Max. number of hours worked per week up to 40 hours.
The tentative end date on December 31, 2027.
