Relative Dynamics Inc. is seeking an Optical Engineer/Physicist. As an Optical Engineer/Physicist, you are part of a cross-functional team developing optical hardware. The ideal candidate will have experience leading or contributing to multiple project development efforts, projects, and initiatives.

What You'll Get to Do:

· Close collaboration with electrical, mechanical and software engineers to understand system requirements and provide proof-of-concept hardware demonstrations that evolve to commercial products. 

· Hands-on optical laboratory experiment design, construction and testing

What You'll Need:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, or relevant field and/or      experience
• 3+ years’ hands on laboratory optics, fiber optic and laser system experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired:

• Optical ray trace software experience (e.g., Zemax, FRED, OSLO)
• Terrestrial fiber optic communication system experience
• Aerospace experience
