The Optical Production Technician will engage in the assembly, testing, and inspection of optical components. • High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in optics or a related field preferred.
• Experience in optical fabrication and testing is an advantage.
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
• Familiarity with various optical testing equipment, including interferometers and spectrometers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a standing position for extended periods.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident as this position requires access to controlled information.
