Elite Vision Care is growing and we are looking to add an experienced Optical Manager to our dynamic team. The ideal candidate appreciates a team focused environment and enjoys helping teammates as much as clients. The ideal candidate should enjoy being accurate in their work to achieve exceptional patient care experiences. The position will require the candidate to handle multiple responsibilities while still assisting with patient care. They should have at least 3 years experience in the fitting, selecting, and selling of eyewear in addition to a minimum of one year supervisory experience.
This position will be responsible for the practice's Optical and Contact Lens production as well as the responsibilities listed below. As a flexible practice that is constantly growing these priorities may shift and change. The ideal candidate should be flexible and fluid in their day to day activities, understanding their daily plans may change to ensure the best patient care is being given.
- Works with team to complete daily checklist
- Facilitates daily huddle meetings with the Optical Team
- Facilitates team trainings and department meetings
- Handles patient escalation issues within limits
- Is expected to perform the job duties associated with the Eyewear Consultant and Lab Technician positions
- Answers difficult questions regarding insurance benefit verification and issues
- Finds creative ways to cultivate optical production
- Assists in inventory management
- Works with Virtual Assistants to ensure back-end work is being completed
- Ensures completion of team scorecard and Individual scorecards
- Ensures all processes are followed in the Elite Vision Care Way
- Sets an example of the Elite Vision Care Heartbeat
- Coordinates with other supervisors to ensure exceptional flow for each patient through the office

This position requires you to be on your feet for extended periods of time, lift up to 25 lbs., have good hand-eye coordination, as well as be able to bend, reach overhead and stoop frequently.
The store is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 3 pm. Saturdays are required.
