Northwest Eye Surgeons is a progressive ophthalmic medical and surgical practice located in the Pacific Northwest. Our Company is the first in the Pacific Northwest to perform the refractive SMILE procedure, the first minimally-invasive laser correction procedure available. Northwest Eye Surgeons is searching for Full Time Optometric Physicians to add to our growing team. Requirements

• Provide patient-friendly, medical, as well as pre-and post-surgical eye exams.
• Work collaboratively with staff optometrists and ophthalmologists
• Offer appropriate treatment plans and counseling to patients.
• Administer and interpret diagnostic tests as indicated.
• Maintain accurate and current patient records.
• Collaborate with community optometrists and other medical professionals to optimize the delivery of high-quality eye care strategies.
• Attend continuing education and training to enhance professional growth and development.
• Participate in promotional events and activities to showcase services to individuals and organizations.
• Familiarity with electronic health records.
• Communicate professionally and ethically with a range of patient personalities.
• Participate in an on-call schedule.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree.
• Active license, or ability to obtain active license, to practice optometry in the state of Washington.
• DEA Certification.
