Optometrist - Kansas City, Missouri

A rare opportunity for an optometrist to launch and grow a new practice in a state-of-the-art wellness center in Kansas City, Missouri. This brand-new clinic has never had an Optometrist and offers a unique opportunity to build a patient base while enjoying modern equipment, strong staff support, and flexible models.

Two Position Options Available:

1. Associate Optometrist (1099 Contractor):

• Full-time or part-time options available (Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm; no weekends)
• Manage an average daily patient volume of 14-16, with potential to see up to 18 patients per day
• Focus on comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and medical eye care
• Work alongside a dedicated on-site clinic team, including a technician, office manager, and reception staff
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment: Digital Phoropter, OCT/Fundus camera, Visual Field screening
• Serve employees of the wellness center and their families
• Support for new graduates, including guidance on credentialing and LLC setup
• Play a key role in building and marketing the clinic to attract new patients

2. Sublease Optometrist:

• Entrepreneurial role to run your own practice within the clinic space
• Initial 2-year commitment, with 12-month renewal terms thereafter
• Free rent for the first 6 months, then only $300/month
• Equipment and maintenance provided; minimal overhead
• Only required to supply personal office consumables (ink, paper, pens, dilation drops, etc.)
• All exam and contact lens fees, as well as medical billing, go directly to the optometrist
• Flexibility to hire another OD
• Tech support, office management, and reception provided
• Receive help navigating LLC formation and credentialing
• Not your traditional sublease: strong operational support and a collaborative onsite medical team
