OR Coordinator/RN Circulator

Are you an experienced surgical nurse who thrives in a leadership role and is passionate about high-quality care? Ortonville Hospital is seeking a dedicated Operating Room (OR) Coordinator/RN Circulator to guide and support our surgical services team.

In this role, you’ll oversee the full continuum of surgical care—from pre-admission to post-discharge—while managing daily operations, policies, staffing, and budgets. You'll work side-by-side with skilled clinicians and surgeons in a collaborative, close-knit hospital environment that values teamwork, leadership, and respect.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead Surgical Services: Coordinate and supervise clinical staff including scrub techs, circulators, and support roles.
• Optimize Patient Flow: Manage daily surgical schedules, ensuring smooth, safe care aligned with physician orders and hospital procedures.
• Ensure Patient Safety: Collaborate with physicians on equipment needs and protocols to uphold the highest safety standards.
• Drive Compliance & Best Practices: Maintain and educate staff on current surgical care policies and procedures, including adherence to AORN and AAMI standards.
• Foster Team Culture: Lead by example with clear communication, clinical expertise, and a commitment to our mission of exceptional care.
• Participate in Call Rotation with the RN circulator team as needed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an NLN or AACN accredited nursing program (strongly preferred)
• 4 years of acute care nursing; supervisory experience preferred
• RN licensure in both South Dakota and Minnesota (required)
• Solid knowledge of perioperative regulatory standards (AORN Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses and AAMI Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation)

• Competitive Pay: $39.76 – $56.47/hour + Call Pay
• Schedule: Full Time Monday-Friday
