OR Nurse

QuarterLine provides professional health care staffing services to military hospitals and health clinics across the United States. We are currently seeking a full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse to work at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.

The Operating Room Nurse plans, directs, and coordinates activities of the Operating Room Department. Maintains optimum standards of nursing care and practice through preoperative and postoperative assessment planning, implementation , and evaluation of patient care.

Qualifications for the position:

• Knowledge is mandatory of operating room techniques.
  
• Education. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing acceptable to the Surgeon General, HQ USAF is mandatory.
• License: Active and unrestricted nursing license in any one of the 50 states.

Experience:

• A minimum of 12 months of experience is mandatory in operating room assignments.
• Experience must include all phases of operating room technique such as preparing operating room units, preparing patients for surgery, and assisting medical officer during surgery; and conducting instrument and equipment sterilization procedures.
