OR Support Tech (Full-Time Days!)

The Staff Pad has partnered with Blue Ridge Medical Center, a trusted healthcare provider in the North Georgia region, to identify a dedicated Operating Room (OR) Support Technician to join their Surgery Department on a full-time, day-shift basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to support a high-performing surgical team in a patient-centered environment where quality care and teamwork are top priorities.

The OR Support Tech plays a vital role in ensuring the operating room runs efficiently and safely. This position assists with surgical room turnover, instrument transport and sterilization, stocking supplies, and maintaining overall cleanliness in the surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with transporting patients, equipment, and instruments within the surgical department
  

• Support operating room setup and breakdown before and after surgical procedures
  

• Clean and restock surgical suites with appropriate supplies and sterile instruments
  

• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report issues as needed
  

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment according to infection control standards
  

• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure smooth daily operations
  

• Support the sterile processing team with supply and equipment needs
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
  

• Previous experience in an OR, hospital, or surgical support role preferred
  

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and sterile technique is a plus
  

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
  

• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team
