Oracle Database Administrator - 302704

Delaware Nation Industries (DNI) is currently looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join us in support of the Air Logistics Center at Tinker AFB. This position is Monday-Friday, on-site full time. This position requires an active secret clearance.

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Database versions (e.g., 12c, 19c) across development, test, and production environments.

• Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including patching, backup verification, and storage management.

• Monitor database performance and assist with tuning queries, indexes, and database parameters.

• Ability to analyze existing systems and make recommendations on which technology best suits the business requirement for high availability, Disaster Recovery or high performance. Experience with 2012 Always On Availability Groups a plus

• Knowledge of SQL Server Policy Based Management

• Ability to build custom T-SQL jobs for managing SQL Statistics and Index Maintenance

• Ability to take a standard SQL Server GUI based feature setup (such as Mirroring, job setup, etc.) and convert it to a T-SQL or PowerShell based process that can be applied across multiple servers efficiently.

• Knowledge of SQL Server Transparent Data Encryption

• Understanding of new SQL Server technologies and how they could or will positively or negatively impact the environment.

• 2+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA or similar role (internships included).

• Working knowledge of Oracle Database architecture, networking, memory structures, and storage concepts.

• Familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL, and basic scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or Python).

• Experience with RMAN, Data Pump, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).

• Understanding of database security principles and user/role management.

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent years of experience.
• Active Security+ certification (or higher)
• Active Secret clearance
