Job Description - Oracle EPM Administrator - Financial Systems

Aspire Software is looking for an Oracle EPM Administrator – Financial Systems to join our team in Lebanon.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle EPM Administrator to join our Financial Systems team. This role supports the day-to-day operations, performance, and evolution of our Oracle EPM environment, ensuring the platform supports seamless and strategic financial planning, consolidation, and reporting. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical expertise and finance acumen, with prior experience in managing EPM platforms during budget and forecast cycles. A CPA designation or background in accounting/FP&A is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

System Administration & Maintenance

  • Administer Oracle EPM suite (FCCS, TRCS, PBCS, EDM, etc.) including metadata, business rules, security, and workflows
  • Perform regular system tasks such as opening/closing planning cycles, executing consolidations, and managing integrations
  • Manage user roles, access control, and security protocols
  • Schedule and monitor batch jobs, backups, and data integrations
  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables and close cycles

Technical Tasks

  • Maintain and update calculation scripts, business rules, web forms, dashboards, and reports
  • Monitor system performance and perform tuning as needed
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with EPM infrastructure, software, and integrations
  • Evaluate and apply relevant patches and system updates
  • Automate recurring tasks using scripting tools
  • Establish and maintain disaster recovery procedures and backup routines
  • Support server and application-level maintenance

Data Integration & Optimization

  • Support the creation and maintenance of integrations between Oracle EPM and other systems (ERP, data warehouse)
  • Ensure high-quality data flow and reconciliation between systems
  • Assist in onboarding and integrating new business units through M&A activity

Functional Finance Support

  • Collaborate closely with FP&A and accounting teams to manage consolidation, Tax, planning and forecasting cycles
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data and reporting outputs
  • Provide end-user training and documentation for planning, close, and reporting tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user inquiries and support requests
  • Recommend process improvements and enforce best practices in EPM usage

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
  • CPA designation or equivalent accounting experience preferred
  • 3–5+ years of experience in a hands-on Oracle EPM administration role
  • Strong understanding of financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation
  • Experience with Essbase, FCCS, HFM, or Planning modules
  • Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g., FDMEE, EPM Automate)
  • Proficient in scripting and automation (e.g., Groovy, SQL, EPM Automate scripting)
