Oral Surgeon position

The Bite Dental is looking for an oral surgeon for a part-time position to treat our diverse patient population. We are a private, family-oriented practice affiliated with Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontic practices – Tooth Tales. With this, we can provide a strong referral source for our doctor. At our practices we have state-of–the-art facilities with the resources you will need to ensure proper diagnosis and treatment for our patients.

We are looking for a doctor with an awesome personality and an amazing attitude and passion towards their profession. Must be self-motivated, with effective communication skills along with patience and empathy. We pride ourselves in having a talented and caring team who thrive to provide the best treatment for our patients, while being a constant support for our doctors.

Responsibilities

·       Ability to administer IV sedation

·       Examine, diagnose and treat dental malocclusions and oral cavity anomalies

·       Determine best course of treatment options for the patient

·       Work in collaboration with general dentist for the best outcome and satisfaction of the patient.

·       Implant placement

·       Third molar extractions

·       Exposures of impacted teeth

·       Excision biopsies

·       Treatment for TMD is a plus

Qualifications

·       DDS or DMD (with sedation permit)

·       DEA registration (a must)

·       Active CPR/BLS  from The American Heart Association

·       Active dental license to practice in Florida

·       Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency

·       Ability to maintain required Professional liability insurance
