Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and caring Dental/Surgical Assistant to join our team! As an Oral Surgeon Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our patients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the doctor during exams and procedures. The ideal candidate has previous experience as a Dental Assistant and is x-ray certified. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic oral surgery experience, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
Assist the surgeon during procedures and exams

Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable

Discuss the oral surgery care plan with patients and answer any questions they have

Take vital signs and accurately record anesthesia, biopsy, implant and bone grafting reports

Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the doctor for exams and procedures

Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies

Capture PAN and bitewing images

Qualifications

Current DANB certification preferred

Dental assistance experience

Breaking down and setting up operatory rooms

Sterilization

Ability to follow office protocols and oral surgery procedures

Positive attitude

Team player

Knowledge of EMR systems

Ability to provide high-quality patient care

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

ORAL SURGERY ASSOCIATES OF THE MAIN LINE

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Joseph A Leonetti, DMD, Jonathan L Voiner, DMD, MD and Joseph Geiger, III, DDS, practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. We also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries and TMJ disorders, and perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures.

We provide intravenous sedation procedures in-office to ensure a safe, comfortable, and effective treatment experience for our patients.
