$25–$28/hour | Overtime in Summer | RRSP Match | Benefits
About the Role
Kerridge Concrete Ltd. is growing, and we’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Order Desk Coordinator to join our team. This role sits at the heart of our operations - connecting customers, dispatch, and internal teams to ensure concrete orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy juggling priorities, and like being the person who keeps everything moving, this could be a great fit for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Order Desk Coordinator, you’ll combine customer service, logistics coordination, and problem-solving in a high-volume environment:
Take and process customer orders by phone and email, entering them into the system for dispatch.
Make real-time decisions on the best way to fulfill orders while balancing customer needs and operational capacity.
Manage a high volume of incoming calls - answering, prioritizing, and redirecting as needed.
Enter new orders while actively speaking with customers.
Work closely with Dispatch on same-day order changes and daily scheduling.
Communicate clearly and empathetically with customers regarding order status and solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams including Dispatch, Sales, Operations, and Accounting.
Use Integra software (industry-specific) and support the transition to a new cloud-based system later this year.
Help plan and support dispatch workflows by understanding truck availability and daily logistics needs.
Why Join Kerridge Concrete?
Competitive pay: $25–$28/hour
Overtime opportunities during the busy summer season
Comprehensive health benefits after 3 months (medical, dental, vision)
RRSP matching (after 1 year)
A collaborative, inclusive team environment
A role where your decisions and communication directly impact daily operations
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking motivated, curious, and reliable candidates who bring:
Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in high call-volume environments.
Attention to detail and solid critical-thinking abilities.
Confidence communicating with customers, site supervisors, and internal teams.
Comfort entering orders while on the phone.
Initiative and ownership when solving problems.
The ability to work independently while staying connected to a team.
A genuine interest in learning and asking questions. There’s a lot to learn, and we’ll support you.
Strong computer skills and confidence learning new systems.
