What we’re looking for:
CAF is seeking a tech-savvy, adaptable, and naturally curious Order Entry & Invoicing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll ensure that customer orders and invoices flow seamlessly into our ERP system, primarily through our EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) integration. The ideal candidate brings invoicing experience, a proactive mindset, and a passion for continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage EDI transactions, including acknowledgments, order confirmations and invoice submissions.


• Ensure all customer orders are entered into our ERP with a high level of accuracy.


• Ensure all invoices are sent in a timely manner, ensuring all billing details are correct.


• Troubleshoot and resolve basic EDI errors and discrepancies by working with internal teams and third-party providers.


• Communicate with internal teams (Sales, Customer Service, Shipping, and Finance) to resolve order or billing issues.


• Assist with order and invoice reporting as needed.


• Identify and suggest process improvements to streamline order entry and billing workflows.


• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in order entry, invoicing, or similar administrative role.


• Comfortable learning new systems and troubleshooting basic technical issues.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Excellent adaptability and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ERP system experience (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics GP, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, etc.)


• Experience working with EDI systems and a good understanding of EDI document flows (850, 855, 810, etc.)

Reports To:
This position reports directly to our Director of Finance & Accounting.
