Job Description - Order Processor

Ironwear, a premier name in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) manufacturing, is seeking an enthusiastic Order Processor to become an integral part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that all customer orders are processed smoothly and accurately. You will collaborate with various departments to uphold our commitment to excellence in customer service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter and manage customer orders in our order management system.
  • Verify the accuracy of orders before dispatching them to the warehouse team.
  • Liaise with customers regarding their orders, shipping notifications, and any changes that may occur.
  • Work closely with the shipping department to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Address and resolve any order discrepancies or issues in a prompt manner.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and records related to order processing.
  • Provide support in monitoring inventory levels and reorder points.
  • Assist the sales team by providing vital information on order statuses and processing updates.
  • Adhere to company policies and protocols throughout the order processing workflow.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in business or a related field is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in order processing or a similar administrative role preferred.
  • Proficient in using ERP software and order management systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in order processing.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Team-oriented with the capability to work independently when required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Basic math skills to assist with order calculations and inventory checks.

Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of the PPE industry or supply chain processes is advantageous.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and software.
  • Understanding of logistics and shipping procedures.
