The Opportunity This position works
out of
our Alameda, CA
location
in the Diabetes Care division where we are
focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions.
We’re
revolutionizing the way people
monitor
their glucose levels with our new sensing technology. As the Product Manager, Organic Social Media you will
work on strategies and tactics to drive awareness and consideration through brand advocacy of the FreeStyle Libre Portfolio of Products. What
You’ll
Work On Responsible for US Organic Social Media Channels – development of content strategy and editorial calendar.
Develop, implement, and manage social media campaigns and community strategies across all relevant channels with a goal to grow followers and audience engagement
Develop business cases and proposals to grow our online share of voice (mentions) &/or Expand into new social media platforms (TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit)
Lead YouTube Strategy
efforts
Lead the ideation, planning, and execution of strategic projects and campaigns for organic channels, working closely with the paid social media, influencer and partnerships leads to optimize cross-placement of content and campaigns across the board.
Build synergies with Global Social and Abbott Corporate Social to amplify US content and campaigns
Build Campaigns to drive brand love/engagement of 850+ FreeStyle Libre Users in the US
Oversight of “surprise and delight” program and development of FSL Ambassador Program
Lead community
management/moderation
of all social channels and support CS/social care expansion
Track the most important social media KPIs and provide monthly share outs with Sr. Leadership
Learns and has knowledge of the core marketing responsibilities, business processes and
budgeting.
Assists in all core marketing activities and business processes. Manages relationships across functions to ensure optimal outcome for brand.
Reports directly to Consumer Marketing Manager.
Required
Qualifications Bachelors Degree with at least 4-6 years of related experience, with at least one year of experience in marketing or product management, or MBA with 1-3 years of related
experience. Strong presentation & communication skills, strategic planning, critical thinking and analysis of market conditions. Preferred
Qualifications Product management experience in medical products or services preferred.
Pro-active and takes initiative with a high level of curiosity
Identifies problems and conceptualizes solutions using creativity and innovation.
Project management (how to execute projects and who to work with).
Time management (prioritizes among multiple projects).
Understands product, therapeutic area and consumer insights.
Has a good knowledge of social media and digital marketing tactics
