Our Organizational Change Management (OCM) Team within our Administrative Services Division is currently recruiting for multiple OCM Leads with knowledge, experience, and passion in change management and training to support the larger DOL team through division changes.

methodology
and activities to support the implementation and adoption success.

As an OCM Lead, you will provide expert level consultation and analysis to division management, internal staff, outside organizations, and customers
regarding
change management?related to complex business projects. The work you
accomplish
is critical as it will ensure that the agency can meet our project goals
and will help leadership plan for long term success
. Your positive leadership and fresh perspective on systems and processes will allow for program changes and improvements as well as standardization of tasks for hundreds of employees.
This position is a key member of DOL’s OCM program
to provide OCM support on agency projects. Y
ou will
develop
and implement organizational change management plans
to create engagement and readiness, minimize resistance,
and
ensure smooth transition to the change.
As a part of a small team, y
ou will help
other
OCM leads impact a large DOL team and support supervisors while fielding education and training concerns internally and for external stakeholders.

status reports for executive steering committee and working committee as well as
analyzing

metrics.

, and mentor
ing
all levels of management through the process of change and
guiding
them in coaching their staff.
Building relationships and trust with project team
members
, leaders,
staff,
and
stakeholders
as they
move through the change
process.
Develop, update, and maintain OCM templates and resources for the program and self-help resources.
Develop and deliver change management training to educate cross-divisional employees, management, and executives on topics like change management
methodology
, change strategy, resistance management, and changing organization culture.
What you will bring (Required):
Eight (8) years of
professional
work experience in one or more of the following areas:
Communications, organizational change management, conducting research, conducting business analysis, and developing requirements, project management, leading business projects, managing business operations, business policy development, or developing and delivering training.
Up to four (4) years of relevant education* may substitute year for year for experience.

Associates
degree = 2 years
Bachelor’s
degree = 4 years)

*Relevant education will include major study in business administration, public administration, or a related field.
Experience Must Include:
Three (3) years of experience conveying ideas and information orally and in writing, using
clear language
that is
appropriate to
both the complexity of the topic and the knowledge and understanding of the audience.
Two (2) years of the following experience:
Leading OCM experience that includes applying widely recognized OCM
methodology
while creating OCM goal focused plans using structured processes and tools to lead the people side of change.
Motivating and influencing others without direct authority, obtaining cooperation from other divisions and other government agencies.
Communications and/or organizational change management experience.
Facilitating teams and meetings to direct key parts of work, encourage communication, listen actively, build rapport, structure & record facts, build
synergy
, and apply effective questioning techniques to coordinate and manage diverse thinking and perspective.
What may help set you apart (Preferred):
Experience championing efforts on agency policies and agency’s organizational change management efforts. Confidence in
facilitating
and participating in meetings with upper-level managers and small to large groups.
Additional
experience with organizational change management, project management, developing and delivering training, strategic planning, development, and integration.
One (1) year of experience as a professional OCM practitioner.?
Course work and/or experience with change management, project management, communications, adult learning theory and training, and/or leadership skills.
Certification from a recognized
Prosci
practitioner,
Prosci
train the trainer, or Certified CM Professional.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications beyond standard items, such as Teams, OneNote, Forms, Visio, Planner, and OneDrive.
