Job Description - Orient Coord

Description

The Orientation Coordinator is responsible for orientation and onboarding of new employees so that the new hire understands the four pillars that guide and impact the On Time company culture, as well as responsible for implementing the Safety in Motion initiatives and culture.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality new employee orientations for field and office employees using approved curriculum materials in accordance with On Time policy within the orientation time frame, as assigned.
  • Engage with new hires, discerning their ability and willingness to learn and adhere to orientation.
  • Communicate any concerns regarding new hires to management.
  • Prepare for orientation through coordination of classes, communicating resources needed to thoroughly complete orientation training prior to field training.
  • Sends all post orientation information and material to new hires; ensures new hires complete all post orientation quizzes and signs off on orientation packet.
  • Enters new hire orientation schedule into ePro.
  • Responsible for purchasing Fit Test Questionnaires.
  • Responsible for Adding / Removing Employees to the following; Wawa, Street Eagle, RescueNet, Kerri System (key fobs)
  • Responsible for obtaining new hire picture and printing ID.
  • Schedule and maintain new employees and current employees for their NJ Fingerprint appointments and obtaining results.
  • Submit new hires and termed employees to RWJBH Automotive Insurance.
  • Remain in constant communication with the company electronic communication systems including, but not limited to e-mail and ePRO messaging.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma. 
  • College education and/or equivalent work experience preferred

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills required; 
  • Excellent group presentation skills required
  • Must be highly-organized and able to multitask effectively; 
  • Strong (or established) inter-personal skills; 
  • Knowledge and expertise with Microsoft Products preferred; Outlook and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Computer proficiency preferred;
  • Excellent documentation skills (promptness, accuracy, thoroughness, and legibility);
