MIYO Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Orientation and Mobility Specialist to provide in-person services to students in the Tallahassee, FL area for the upcoming school year. This is a meaningful opportunity to help students gain independence and confidence in navigating their environments safely and effectively.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct orientation and mobility instruction to students with visual impairments
• Assess and develop individualized O&M plans tailored to student needs and goals
• Collaborate with educational teams, families, and other service providers
• Monitor and document student progress and outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to overall student planning

✅ Requirements:

• Florida certification as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist
• Experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to travel within the district to provide services at multiple sites as needed
