Orthodontic Records Tech

We are a single doctor orthodontic specialty practice located in Clearwater, FL looking for a professional and vibrant Orthodontic Records Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication skills, punctual and has a professional demeanor.  A positive attitude, confidence, creative tendencies, and self-driven qualities are desired.  Orthodontic experience is preferred, but not required (***We will train the right candidate ***). Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. 

Job Description:

Responsible for assisting the orthodontist and clinical team in the delivery of patient care. 

Duties include and are not limited to:

• Capturing orthodontic records (Photographs, 3D X-rays and 3D intraoral scans) of new and existing patients.   


• Collect, clean, prepare and organize dental tools and instruments for orthodontic procedures. Preparing work areas for treatments and procedures.
  


• Seat and prepare patients for appointments and/or bring them to check-out as needed.


• Delivery of orthodontic retainers and removable appliances.


• Maintain upkeep of dental equipment by performing routine maintenance. Other clinical non-patient facing duties as assigned.


• Other general orthodontic assisting duties under Rx of the Doctor. 
  

Job Type:

Full-time (35-40 per week) (On-site)  

Hours : M-F

*NOTE:  This is a FULL TIME position. The employee must be available to work the required employee hours.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)


• Florida Radiographer Certification (Preferred)


• Certified Orthodontic Assistant Certification (Preferred)
  

Experience:

• 1+ years of customer service and/or patient care (Required)


• 6+ months dental experience (Preferred)
  


• Bilingual (Preferred, Spanish a plus)
