Orthodontic Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists in the preparation and adjustment of orthodontic appliances.
• Maintain patient records and ensure that all information is accurate and up to date.
• Sterilize and prepare instruments and equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory and supply requests to ensure necessary materials are always available.
• Educate patients and their families on the use and care of orthodontic appliances.
• Assist with patient intake and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
• Collaborate with team members to develop efficient workflows and enhance patient experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification as an orthodontic technician is preferred.
• Proven experience in a dental or orthodontic support role is highly advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
• Familiarity with orthodontic procedures and terminology is a plus.
• Proficient in using dental software and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing responsibilities.
